Founder’s Story

My love for skincare began at an early age, inspired by my dad, who often brought home beauty products for my mom. Gift-giving was his love language, and those little gestures were his way of expressing his appreciation for her. As a stay-at-home mother of four, my mom poured all her energy into managing our home and rarely made herself a priority. Her skincare products often sat unused, collecting dust on the shelf.

While most young girls might have sneaked into their mother’s closet to try on shoes or clothes, I was different. I would sneak and use her skincare products instead. I loved the way my skin would glow after using them. I still remember spritzing my face with “floral-scented water” that made me feel extra girly—though I didn’t realize at the time that it was actually facial toner! Thanks to my dad’s thoughtful gifts, I had a full skincare regimen by the age of nine. Every time he came home with a new product for my mom, I felt like “we” had something new and exciting to use together.

When I was 11, my parents separated, and the skincare gifts stopped. But my passion for skincare only grew. I used every extra dollar I had to buy products and experiment. I dreamed of one day creating a skincare line of my own—something that blended my childhood memories with the values of care, connection, and self-love.

After nearly 20 years in the making, that dream became a reality. A. Monyette Botanicals™️ was born—a collection inspired by my journey, my family, and my enduring love for skincare.
